1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or playing on Insignia MU, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Insignia MU is

Insignia MU is an unofficial, fan-run private server based on MU Online. MU Online is a registered trademark of Webzen Inc. Insignia MU is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Webzen. This is a non-profit, community-run project.

3. User accounts

• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• You must provide truthful information when registering.
• We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

4. Player conduct

Prohibited:

• Using cheats, bots, macros, or any third-party software that alters gameplay.
• Exploiting server bugs instead of reporting them.
• Running multiple accounts for the purpose of exploiting game systems.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other players.
• Trading accounts, items, or services outside the game's official systems.

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or a permanent ban, at the team's discretion.

5. VIP and purchases

• VIP status is purchased with in-game W Coin and grants convenience benefits (lower Zen costs, more vault space, etc.) — never additional combat power.
• Purchases are for digital content for immediate use; once a benefit is applied, no refunds are issued except for a confirmed technical error on our end.
• Prices and benefits may change without prior notice.

6. Service availability

Insignia MU is a fan project and does not guarantee continuous availability. The server may undergo maintenance, balance changes, or eventually shut down. We do not guarantee the indefinite preservation of characters, items, or progress.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Insignia MU team will not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

8. Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
